Grand Opening Celebrates 15th Location for South Florida’s Largest Cuban Bakery Chain

Published on July 2016

Vicky Bakery celebrated the grand opening of their 15th South Florida location today along with many local business partners and City of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado. Vicky Bakery’s newest location at 3765 West Flagler Street sits in the heart of Miami serving Little Havana and Brickell with the same Cuban pastries that have thrilled South Florida for decades.

"We are thrilled to be in this area, said Julie Portal, owner of the new East Flagler bakery. We know the residents of Brickell and Little Havana thrive and love our Cuban baked goods. Serving this community will be a pleasure.

The grand opening celebration included a ribbon cutting with City of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado; members of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; former Miami-Dade County Mayor Alex Penelas; and Vicky Bakery owners along with the rest of the Cao family. Guests heard Mayor Regalado speak about the Vicky Bakery tradition in our community and the pride it brings him and the City of Miami to have a Vicky Bakery in the heart of their community and a delicious red velvet cake marked with Vicky Bakery’s trademark Vlogo.

Vicky Bakery East Flagler serves its famous pastelitos – named Best Pastelitos 2016 by Burger Beast as well as the home-made croquettes, empanadas, sandwiches, desserts, custom cakes, party specials and so much more.

"Vicky Bakery is proud to serve the South Florida community, said Pedro Cao, President at Vicky Bakery Enterprises. Extending our reach to serve and bring our baked goods to the Brickell, Downtown and Little Havana areas is exciting for us."
